Undergraduate Admissions

There's nothing quite like being in the right place at the right time. We know you are approaching one of the most exciting times in your life. Thanks to strong leadership and a $700 million investment in growth and campus improvements over the last 5 years, it is also a particularly dynamic and extraordinary time to be a part of High Point University.
Don't miss out on the extraordinary opportunities available for you at High Point University! We have several application deadlines of which you should be aware:

Early Decision:
For those applicants who consider High Point University their number one college choice, we offer our Early Decision plan. It is a binding agreement that, if admitted, you will withdraw all other college applications and enroll at High Point University.

Deadline: November 1, 2011

Admissions Response: November 23, 2011
Early Action:
For those applicants who consider High Point University one of their top few college choices, we suggest our Early Action plan. It is a non-binding application plan.

Deadline: November 8, 2011

Admissions Response: December 12, 2011
Regular Decision:
Students not applying under one of our early application plans will be considered under our Regular Decision plan, and admission will be offered on a rolling basis.

Deadline: March 15, 2012
Applications will be accepted after the deadline and acceptances will be granted on a space available basis.
With 47 buildings on 290 acres, the University is located in a quiet residential area a mile from downtown High Point. Interstate highways 40 and 85 are easily accessible from the campus, and the area airport is a few miles north of the campus. Several buildings on campus were part of the original construction in 1924, but many have been added as part of a 10 year, $2.1 billion growth plan for the University.

High Point University offers some of the most incredible on-campus housing in the country. All residence halls are either brand new or have been recently renovated. Students enjoy wireless internet, air conditioning, carpeting in each individual room, spacious common areas with new furniture and plasma TVs, free laundry, free cable TV, and outdoor patios with lounge and rocking chairs. Residence halls are locked 24/7 with entrance by student ID only to a student's own building.
