MTH 4110 Abstract Algebra
MTH 4310 Introduction to Real Analysis
CSC 1710 Introduction to Programming - Select one course from:
MTH 3150 Probability
STS 3200 Mathematical Statistics and Data Analysis
STS 3210 Linear Statistical Models
- Select three MTH elective from 2000-level or higher:
MTH 3110 Mathematics of Finance
MTH 3150 Probability - If not used for second 2
MTH 3410 Differential Equations
MTH 3510 Complex Variables
MTH 3610 Mathematics for Physics
MTH 3710 Geometry
MTH 3810 Combinatorics
MTH 3910 Numerical Methods
MTH 3960 Historical Development of Mathematics
MTH 4010 Number Theory
MTH 4210 Introduction to Topology
- In addition, all mathematics majors must take the following sequence of calculus based physics:
PHY 2010 and 2020 - Note: If a student is obtaining teacher certification in mathematics, the student must select MTH 3710 Geometry, as one of their selections in elective courses.
